Meet some members

Our club has a pretty laid back approach to officers and what they do. But we do actually have a couple. The current president is Tom Jamrog. Gorden Webster is our treasurer. He takes over from Bernard Rines who held the office from it's inception and performed the duties in an exemplary fashion. Thank you Bernard. The other notable offices of sorts are Alan McKinnon, who does a quarterly mailing (I guess this is the Minister of Information or something to that effect), and me, Patrick Rowling, Webmaster (non-elected, voluntary position). I have been president for two terms, and I am looking forward to the construction of my presidential library in Rockland, ME

We have varied vocational and avocational interests among our membership. I work at the Owls Head Transportation Museum, what I consider the best job in Maine. Gorden owns and operates a Maytag store in Waldoboro. Alan is the owner of Naragansett Leather in Damariscotta, which is in a great location on the waterfront. Tom Jamrog works for a local school system, but dabbles in motorcycle adventure writing. Lloyd Roberts, a semi-retired pathologist and coniseur of fine firearms. Mike Allen owns the Winterport Boot Shop based in, you guessed it, Brewer. He is enjoying a long affair with his favorite pasta maker - GUZZI. Mike Weaver is a nurse who has a fine stable of mounts. Peter Parnall is a fantastic artist who has been fatally bitten by the restoration bug - having completed his third /2 frameup restoration in the last five years! There are so many more members that I could list; Don and Pam from Downeast, Jerry from Midcoast Motorsports, David Rice, Steve Horton (Tim's long lost brother), . . . the only way to really get to know all these great folks is to come to a ride and meet them yourself. Then we could add another name to this growing family.

This space is reserved for the photo gallery of our members and their bikes, links to their personal home pages, or whatever they would like to post here. Just let me know what you have and email the file to me in a useable format (jpeg, gif, ascii, etc.) and I will get it in for the next update. I would really like a picture of everyone on their mount of the moment for starters. If you can not scan the photo, send it to me at 69 Beech St., Rockland ME 04841 and I will take care of the conversion.
